How it works

1

3

Pick something and press play.

A friend told me there were no good IPTV apps for Xbox or Mac, so I made them.

What it does

Live TV in TBIPTV

Live TV

Categories and a guide, catch-up where your playlist supports it, and reminders before a programme starts. You can hide anything that isn’t FHD. Channel names keep FHD, HD or SD on the end, so two copies of the same channel stay distinct.

Films in TBIPTV
A film’s details in TBIPTV

Films and series

Posters, cast and plot, resume where you stopped, and the next episode offered. On a film or episode, a quick press left or right jumps 10 seconds. Hold to move further along, then let go and it plays from there. Home can list films and series that are popular right now, but only if they are already in your playlist. Playlist names can drop extra tags such as 4K. Trailers play in-app if the playlist has one.

Sport

Channels grouped by sport, country and league, taken from the channel name and guide. A match starting within two hours counts as on now.

Everything else

TBIPTV mini player

Mini player

Keep watching in the corner while you browse. On a computer, a double-click tucks the picture into the corner, and the pointer hides if you leave it still. On films and catch-up you can change speed, soundtrack, subtitles and how the picture fits.

Search

While a stream plays you can search channels, jump back through recent channels. Typo-tolerant search that finds actors too.

Lock controls

Lock the controls.

Stream info

See stream info.

PIN-locked categories

PIN-locked or hidden categories.

Favourites

Favourites are a list of names, so you can read them, and you can group them in folders.

Privacy

Your login goes only to the server you entered. No TBIPTV account, no ads, no tracking.

FAQ

Does it include channels?

No. You need a playlist from a service you’re allowed to use.

Mac says it can’t verify the app.

Drag the app into Applications. Then open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway. Works on Apple Silicon and Intel, macOS 14 or later.

Bug or idea?

Send it from here. Don’t include your playlist password.
